Organic Bancha Green Tea

Bancha is essentially a lower grade Sencha consisting of coarser leaves that make a somewhat brisker tea. This fine-grade, aromatic Bancha has a light-golden cup color and a slight vegetal, sweetish aroma. Prepared correctly, it does not have the astringency and harshness found in many Banchas.
Preparation: Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz. cup; bring water to a boil; let steep for 2 minutes.
Packaged in a 3 ounce stand up foil pouch with a zip loc for freshness. The pouch is further secured with a heat seal to maximize freshness and quality.
Size: 3 ounces - enough for approximately 40 cups. |
